Throughout his career, Bryan says he’s only had to get someone fired once — and it sounds like they really deserved it.

While looking back on his time on set, Bryan says one crew member showed up drunk and made a lot of people uneasy.

“He was incredibly inappropriate and inebriated, and he made a lot of people on our show feel very uncomfortable,” Bryan told GQ.

He continued, “And when I went in to talk to my producer about it, [I] said, ‘We’ve got to let him go. We’ve got to fire him. It’s inexcusable behavior.'”

Now when Bryan’s producing a project, he does a thorough background check for whoever he hires. He says he goes to their IMDb page and compiles a list of everyone he knows who has worked with them — and then calls them.
